However, with the availability of new software programs, compatibility is not an obstruction now to enjoy playing such games.

Difference between console based gaming and computer gaming is as follows:

Compatible platforms: Still there are games that are available on one platform. While there are versions of game with minor differences that can be played on any one of the platform.

Cost: Computers will cost you negligibly these days providing high-end gaming features that can last for years. In addition, computers allow you to play old games with same speed. Console with new technology will be very costly with certain new features. Besides, there are certain games that can be played only on specific brands of console.

System Optimization: High-end computers with excellent graphics and interface devices provide perfection to your gaming platform. Many users prefer console gaming, as it provides much more pleasure than computer gaming and are less prone to crash thereby avoiding interrupts during dramatic situations.

User Interfaces: Computers have mouse and keyboard as an interface that is ideal for first person gamers, whereas original feeling of driving, sports or fighting is provided by console gaming. You can also play with one or more partners on the same console that gives a true feeling of excitement. However, console misses lots of detail and depth that you can find in PCs.

Select the gaming platform according to its use. Excessive storage of games on your computer can make it slower and thus, console gaming will be an ideal choice. Thus, choose the gaming systems according to your preferences.
